Our family of employees believes their service sets them apart from national chain operations. A.C. Jordan and his son, Arthur, opened Carpet Super Mart in April 1977 after seeing a need for a carpet store that could perform better than the others. The business quickly grew and the family filled any role that was needed. A.C.'s wife, Mildred, took care of the bookkeeping and Arthur did everything from unloading trucks to cutting carpet. A.C. and Mildred's daughter, Joyce, also joined in that first year helping out with the books and eventually helping to computerize the store. Joyce's husband, Ron Mobley, joined the company in 1986 to complete the family circle. Ron supervises all of the installations.
